I'm Gerard Martínez, founder of ApexTax. I've spent my career in cross-border employment — helping over 100 people from more than 15 countries work legally in Spain and build their move here.

My background is in the global Employer of Record industry, where I've spent years helping international companies and professionals navigate cross-border employment into Spain — contracts, compliance, residency and the tax questions that come with moving.

That's the angle most relocation services miss: they handle the visa, then leave the tax and employment structure as an afterthought. I lead with it, because it's where the costly mistakes happen.

I hold the IBFD Certificate of Professional Training in Principles of International Business Taxation, awarded by the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD), strengthening the technical foundation behind ApexTax's strategy work.
